The Body's Role in Self-Transformation
For centuries, we have been taught to distrust our bodies, to see them as separate from our minds, or as something to be controlled, disciplined, and overcome. But the truth is, your body is the most reliable source of wisdom you have. It is the home of your intuition, the seat of your emotions, and the physical vessel for your spirit. Transformation that bypasses the body is not true transformation.

This course is a journey of coming home to your body. Grounded in the science of Polyvagal Theory, you will learn to understand the language of your own nervous system. You’ll discover the difference between the states of safety (“green zone”), fight-or-flight, and shutdown, and begin to recognize how these states unconsciously drive your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

More than just theory, this course is deeply experiential. You will learn a toolkit of simple, powerful somatic practices to help you regulate your nervous system, cultivate more “green zone” capacity, and build a deep and trusting relationship with your body. This is where you learn to stop treating your body like an accessory and start honoring it as your wisest guide.
